Querida Familia,
I am deeply honored and excited to be officially serving as Executive Director of Unidos in Power. Since my early days at ¿Oíste?, I have believed in the possibility of a Latino movement in Massachusetts that truly harnesses our collective energy, leadership, and power.
Over the past three years — first as a volunteer, then as a consultant, and now in this role — what has inspired me most is the commitment I see across our community. Latino leaders across this Commonwealth show up every day with passion, resilience, and a deep sense of responsibility to those we serve.
This year, Unidos in Power is focused on strengthening connection and coordination across our statewide Latino community — expanding relationships, sharing information, and building the strength of our collective voice. We are here to stand alongside our partners to increase impact and move forward together. We are all – together, Unidos – building a movement.
“Qué rico es ser Latino.” When I heard that phrase at the start of this year’s Super Bowl’s Bad Bunny halftime performance, I felt both pride and emotion. Even during challenging times, our culture, strength, and unity remain powerful.
Unidos in Power is here to help build that unity across our Commonwealth. I am grateful for the opportunity to do this work with you and look forward to what we will create together.
We have an exciting year ahead.
Siempre Unidos,
Grace
