Latinos are one in eight people in Massachusetts, a quarter of its schoolchildren, and a growing share of its workforce and businesses. Yet in the places where decisions get made, we are far fewer. In Massachusetts state government, Latinos make up just 3.7% of top executives, compared with nearly 15% of the state’s population.
